I don’t know about the rest of America but I see what is happening in this country right now. We are under attack at all levels and all directions. The scary thing is that is it is coming from within our own government, agencies and citizens. The hatred for the United States of America spewing from within it’s own borders is unprecedented. It has always been here in some form, unfortunately the “silent majority” has been going about it’s business the last twenty years and now finally got the message.
Let’s go back to the early 90’s with Clinton in office. The government effectively took away any parents ability to discipline their children. They gave children the ability to call abuse on their parents hence we have no discipline anymore. The Constitution states the government shall provide for the general welfare of the public not stick it’s big ugly nose in my business.
September 11th 2001 the attacks on the Twin Towers and Flight 93. Congress enacted the Patriot Act six weeks after September 11th which in effect expanded the governments’ ability to spy on it’s own citizens. Different versions of this bill had been attempted to pass and were tossed away by Congress. If the government wants records from your doctor, your ISP, your cell phone subscriber, they have to give it and are under a gag order not to tell you. If you look into what transpired in the lead up to it’s passing, it seems to be sort of the same playbook used to pass Obamacare. Make the bill so large and give Congress no time to read it, then call for a vote by telling any member of Congress it is their fault if they don’t help America!
President Obama effectively took race relations in this country back 100 years with 8 years in office. I gave the man a chance, in my opinion he had the biggest opportunity to unite this country and made it worse. He started blaming the police for shootings and would take the side of the criminals. Ask yourself, if you blame the police and call them the bad guys, what would the bad guys do? Answer, attack!! Obamacare is a disaster, we didn’t get to keep our doctors, our premiums went up because those of us working were now paying the bills of those on welfare.
The media is not fair and balanced, it never has been. In my formidable years the media was the watchdog making sure the government did it’s job. It for whatever reason has always been left leaning but at some point it went full tilt leftist socialism, communist. They don’t report the news, there is no news reporting anymore, it is all opinion shows and biased. Hell I know, I am stating my opinions in this blog, but it is my blog and I am not calling it news! I give a reaction to what is happening. Media outlets are creating opinions and narratives. In their world the hosts of these shows are all knowing and all seeing. Their opinions dwarf how the public may actually feel because they sit in front of a camera. Case in point. CNN’s Don Lemon actually said on national TV that Europeans did not settle America. Apparently that is OK because Don Lemon said so!
Here is my take. In the early 1970’s President Nixon coined the term silent majority. President Trump has used that term throughout his Presidency and beyond. I don’t think the silent majority is silent anymore, I believe it is ANGRY!!! Gone are the days of conservatives just going back to work and oh well. Gone are the days of well we’ll get them next time. Just look at all of the school board meetings that are erupting, we haven’t heard that ever! Pence got booed at a conservative conference. Lindsay Graham was harassed at an airport. Election audits are happening and it is spreading. People want the truth, people want honesty and we want the government to work for us not the government.
